Areas of Unrest

25 May 2008 - Trying to Declutter

I never got around to an entry last week, though I've been managing to post plenty of brief things to my livejournal site. So if you really want to know what I've been up to, it's probably just as well to look there. It's also probably more interesting than the rest of this.

What I should be up to is decluttering my condo. I did finally file all the papers from one folder that has been sitting on my desk for months. And I went through my travel medicine kit, in the process of which I discovered that the top of the iodine table bottle had oxidized away, spilling little brown tablets all over that pocket. Also, that I had some dramamine that had expired in 2002. Obviously, I need to restock a few things before my summer vacation.

That did get one thing off the floor which shouldn't have been on the floor in the first place. I'm hoping to get through the stack of travel brochures before I go to bed tonight. And deal with the begging letters tomorrow. I figure that if I can make some decent progress, I will reward myself tomorrow by going to a movie.

The sad part is that I will probably decide to go out to a movie whether or not there are still papers strewn on the floor of the study nook.
